Black and Blue Rabbit Strip Tube Fly

Rabbit strip flies have been a favorite of mine for steelhead for over 20 years. The original ones we called string leeches. They took a good amount of time to tie and the hooks were not replaceable. This tube version is that fly improved on in many ways. It’s quick and easy to tie, the hook is replaceable, and it’s easy to vary the weight and length. 

Tie a bunch of these in any color combo you like.
