Tyer's Table ~ Bass Bugs with Shawn West

Shawn West brings his incredible hair-stacking skills and his trusty vacuum cleaner for his fall deer hair spinning, razorblade carving, bass bug extravaganza. This event is always a crowd favorite, even if it is a little messy. Please make plans to join us!

"My name is Shawn West. I started fly fishing/ fly tying in the late 80s. My primary focus was to target warm water Species. I have focused my fishing during the last ten years, targeting smallmouth bass fishing in the Columbia River. I have been a demonstration tyer on and off since 1991. My fly-tying "specialty" is tying deer hair bass bugs. I enjoy sharing the knowledge I have gleaned over the past 30+ years." 

The hair flies at 10:30, this Saturday, October 26th, and gets vacuumed up around 1:00.
