Tyer's Table with Connor Cronin

The Devil is in the Details
Most of us fly-tier fisher folks are, to say the least, detail-oriented. While one might observe we border on obsessive-compulsive, for our sake, we embrace these unique oddities and eclectic idiosyncrasies, which prompt us to push the boundaries of creativity to discover what could be possible “if,” while never fully being satisfied with our current “what is.” Brilliant minds understand as we relish in each other’s latest and greatest concoctions.
One of our favorite Mad Scientist/Engineering friends is Connor Cronin, a great customer who just recently returned home from Cuba with us and notched his belt with his first Permit, and a doozy at that! Connor is always looking to up his game in everything he does and takes his fly-tying very seriously with next-level talents. Swinging for steelhead is a passion here locally, and many of his out-of-the-box ideas end up on his 3D printer to create one-of-a-kind goodies for salty adventures and his other loves~ targeting big, local carp when not at home being the very best Cat Dad to his stunning Siberian Cat, Rory.
We are pretty sure that this forward-thinking mindset of planning for warm weather fishing opportunities is how Connor stays warm while swinging through a run in the dead of winter, and his tremendous ability to put food away faster than anyone else we’ve ever seen. No joke. This dude’s LEGIT.
Join us this Saturday at 10:30 am as we welcome Connor to the Tyer’s Table for the first time. We guarantee you will learn more than a thing or two and enjoy his creativity, honed ingenuity, and genuine curiosity about all things fishing.
