Kraft's Kreelex Streamer

Chuck Kraft created the kreelex minnow specifically for targeting trout, but it has proved to be a deadly pattern for just about every gamefish on the planet including bass, redfish, and carp.  This fly is tied much like the clouser minnow, but with Kreelex flash instead of the traditional bucktail.  If you aren’t familiar with kreelex, it has a metallic like finish that glows like a lantern underwater and has a little softer consistency than flashabou.  Kraft’s kreelex is a staple for the Missouri river, but it works anywhere fish eat meat!
